We're Getting Some

Finally, the rain is plowing right over us, instead of circling around us.

This same farmer who use to whine about mud, is doing a dance of joy in the front yard, soaked to the skin...

Won't have to water the garden today, or hose off the alpacas this afternoon. The temperature has dropped 15 degrees.

But I'm not sure what to do with these zombie sheep. They're gobsmacked by the thunder and lightning.

We had rain forecast this morning. They said to expect rain late this afternoon. Well, it clouded over at about 4pm, then I heard rain on the roof window in the kitchen at about 8pm. It lasted for about 5 mins and that was it! Still the washing that was out stayed dry, so I guess the garden still needs water!
We used to get so many dramatic storms when I lived just a little further south west, but here they seem to rimble around us and the blow over! England is such a small country, you wouldn't think the climate could vary so much!

O dear! It's too late to be doing this! But too hot to sleep! That rimble should have been a rumble!

  3. Just now getting that rain down here in SW Dallas County. Where is the video or even photo of the farmer doing that dance of joy in the front yard, soaked to the skin? ;)

  4. Yippeee! Rain! We are getting some too. Poor sheep, it has been so long that they forgot.

I do love that sign you have now, too!
