Saturday at the Museum

We are nothing if not flexible around here.

This beautiful Ameraucana pullet came from the Heritage Farmstead Museum
The other night, our pal Leslie called to tell me that she really needed to have a surgical procedure today (thankfully, she'll be fine) and probably wouldn't be ready to teach our Art Yarn class on Saturday.  So our thoughts and prayers are with her today for a successful procedure and a quick recovery.

Restored 1890's Plano farmhouse - The Museum
The Art Yarn class is now scheduled for Saturday, August 6 from 12:30 to 3 PM.  If your plans didn't allow you to come this Saturday, please let me know if you'd like to be included on our new date.  And let me know if you need materials so Leslie can get some amazing stuff carded up for you.  Basic fee is $20 and materials are an additional $30.  If you want to bring your own, be sure to bring lots of wild colors, mohair locks, cut up ribbon, commercial yarn bits and whatever else you can think of...

Now, on this Saturday, July 23, let's go to the Museum anyway.  Whatcha say?  It's reserved and waiting for us, so let's do it.  Everybody come NOT to the LRB, but to the Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano, from 10 till mid afternoon or so.  It's big and air conditioned, and the museum is really, really awesome.

The pullets are working hard to stay cool...
I'll post more info as we get closer.  In the meantime, keep spinning and keep cool!  See you at the Museum on Saturday!
